I am the mom to 3 mini daushunds. 3! I love them dearly but at times, especially walking them, 3 is alot to handle. I recently moved into a new home. I keep saying recently, but it has been almost a year already! A year. Time sure does fly. Anyway....back to my doggies. I wish I would have incooperated some things into the kitchen I recently renovated such as a spot for their food bowls and mostly their water bowls. With the amount of water on my floor, you would think they were great danes drinking after being lost in the desert! Seriously. How much water do 3 mini daushunds need? I seen something on pinterest that has a kitchen cabinet cut out for a dogs bowls to fit in so the food and water was not all over the floor. A missed opportunity in our home. So for now, I will have to keep paper towels handy to wipe up the excessive water landing on my floor daily. Second, dog cages. My dogs do sleep in their little cages at night because one of them likes to sit and stare out the sliding glass doors waiting for the wildlife that goes by in our backyard. which in turn makes her bark. My other baby, he's getting old and doesnt see or hear well anymore and i just feel safer with him in their at night when i am sleeping. My 3rd baby gets to sleep with my daughter as she is his person and will howl all night long without her. Do I have room for these dog cages? Heck no! Do I have pretty dog cages? That would be a negative. They have become an eye sore. They are in my dining room which is the first thing you see as you walk in my house. That is the only area that has a spot for them and even then, its a tight fit. I have thought about having a piece of furniture built that is a dog cage to kind of make it look less of a kennel and more like it belongs in the house. But again, No room.So my advice to you if you are a pet parent and are looking for a home, be mindful of the space for your pets and their things.
